“What’s your favorite ‘genre’ of photography?”

It’s hard to just pick one, I’d say travel photography tends to cover many aspects such as people, landscapes, history, culture etc. I really love a photograph which tells a story or makes you want to be there. During my A-levels I really enjoyed doing darkroom photography, I think it’s a really great thing to learn and teaches you the foundations of photography. Other than that I am an animal lover. My first additional lens was a telephoto, 70-200mm and I absolutely loved to shoot wildlife.

“What inspires you as a person?”

Most people try to find what the meaning of life is, whilst others give their life meaning. This is often done through fame, respect, responsibility etc. I tend to fall in both categories, I wanted to travel the whole world to see for myself what the meaning of life was. At the same time I want to make a difference in the world, I want to inspire others to be all they can be. Stop chasing your dreams because they’re not running further away from you. Climb towards them instead, step by step. And if you should fall, get up and try again or take a new approach. My ultimate goal is that one day I will be in a position where I can try and make the world a better place, just one person can make all the difference. Till then I will continue to do all I can, small things now can amount to larger things in the future.
